In midlife, I began writing songs exploring life’s crossroads, addressing themes of loneliness, resilience, hurt, joy, and the thrill of new beginnings.
My lyrics speak to those seeking inspiration, adventure, comfort, and connection, weaving wry humour with heartfelt honesty.
Jazz and gospel vocalist and session singer
I’m a seasoned, versatile professional singer with 20 years of music industry experience. As a member of Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir and the London Community Gospel Choir, I’ve performed live with Justin Timberlake, The Clash and Mica Paris, and provided studio session vocals for Madonna, Ellie Goulding, and the Take That movie. Jazz career highlights include a BBC Prom with Kamasi Washington’s choir and a solo show at Ronnie Scott’s. I was part of a “sublime” performance by the Heritage Orchestra and Anna Calvi as part of the Edinburgh International Festival.
