Ex-Londoner, now Edinburgh-based, musician Alison Beck is a jazz and gospel singer and songwriter. Her vibrant, powerhouse vocals have led her to work with artists including the London Community Gospel Choir, Madonna, Ellie Goulding and Justin Timberlake.

She has also performed with Mica Paris, Kamasi Washington, The Heritage Orchestra and more, gracing stages from Ronnie Scott’s to the BBC Proms.

In midlife, Alison began writing songs exploring life’s crossroads, addressing themes of loneliness, resilience, hurt, joy, and the thrill of new beginnings. Her lyrics speak to those seeking inspiration, adventure, comfort, and connection, weaving wry humour with heartfelt honesty.

Her new single, Mind Your Head, is a raw, folky song about being at a crossroads - longing for change but held back by fear.
