Mind Your Head

I wrote this song about standing on the threshold of something big, but feeling scared. I imagine plenty of people can relate to this feeling... can you?

Mind Your Head’ is a raw, folky song about being at a crossroads - longing for change but held back by fear. Written in a creative burst during a retreat in an ancient barn, it speaks to midlife women feeling stuck or alone on the edge of transformation. With Joni Mitchell-style storytelling, warm textures, and a gospel choir lift in the bridge, it’s honest, reflective, and soul-nourishing - ideal for fans of thoughtful, lyrically driven folk-pop.
